Gift Guide for Her

Hello and Happy Holidays! I hope you’re all doing well.

I was shopping for secret Santa gifts yesterday and noticed how overwhelming it can be to shop in places like Ulta or Sephora for a beauty junkie, especially if you don’t have any idea about makeup.  There are so many holiday gift sets and, although they’re a great deal and look beautiful, not all are great in terms of quality. I love all of these things because they’re practical for everyday use and they are easy to travel with, and above all, they’re great quality items that every beauty lover would be happy to have.

Lets get started.

For the Skin/Body Care Lover

I found this Philosophy skin care set at Ulta and I couldn’t get over the value of this set.  It’s never too early to start taking measures to protect your skin against premature wrinkling and this set has all the answers.  The best part: it says that it’s $89 dollars but if you can get into an Ulta, it’s 40% off that price. You can find it here.

Philosophy also makes some amazing body products. I’m obsessed with the Amazing Grace Whipped Body Cream.  It’s a very clean, light scent that’s almost reminiscent of grandmas perfume but in a good way.  It’s highly moisturizing and awesome for locking in skin moisture right out of the shower.  You can get it here.

If you’re looking for something lighter and more on the sweet side, I’m obsessed with the Philosophy Unconditional Love Firming Body Emulsion.  This is my all time favorite body lotion and you can get it here

For a less expensive alternative to body care, try out the Soap and Glory Breakfast Scrub.  I’ve raved about this before, and I’ll do it again.  The stuff is scent heaven.  If she loves warm, sweet scents, this will be a hit.  You can see it here.

For the Eyeshadow Lover

The Nars NARSissist Loaded Eyeshadow palette is a lux dream for an eyeshadow palette lover.  Warmer hues are very trendy right now and look amazing on everyone.  This is definitely on the pricer side for an eyeshadow palette, but it’s sure to make a wonderful impression on the person you’re gifting it to! You can find it here.

For a slightly less expensive alternative to this palette, you can check out the Tartelette Toasted Eyeshadow Palette here

A more  affordable, but equally as amazing palette is the Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette.  This palette is like butter- so smooth and the eyeshadows are extremely creamy and bendable.  This might not make sense to everyone, but every makeup lover knows that these qualities are important.  There are so many looks that can be created with this palette and you can find it here.

The Huda Beauty Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette is pocket sized and packs a huge punch.  I use it every single time I get ready for dinner, hockey games or girls’ nights.  I could not rave about this palette more and it comes in several different color schemes.  You can find it here.

For the Contour Queen

Tarte just released this Park Ave. Princess Bronzer and Contour Palette and it’s a dream.  I love Tarte products and this is no exception.  You can find it here.

I also love the Taste PRO Glow Highlight & Contour Palette if you think the person you’re buying for would prefer more high shine highlights.  You can find it here.

For the Jewelry Lover

I love Kendra Scott jewelry.  It’s relatively affordable for what you’re getting and it looks beautiful.  I wear some form of her jewelry everyday and often get asked where it’s from.  You can find my favorite earrings here and my favorite necklace here

For the Indecisive

Sometimes it’s too hard to pick one thing to give to someone.  So more often than not, I’ll put together a little gift filled with mini- full sized versions of my favorite products and put them into a cute makeup bag or a stocking.  The gift is super customizable and you can add anything you want.  Benefit makes a bunch of really awesome mini products and going through the checkout line at a Sephora or Ulta store will give you tons of options. Fill the bag or stocking with your favorite nail polishes, mini skin care, face masks, bath bombs or whatever you think they’ll like!

And there you have it! My holiday gift guide for the ladies (or men) in your life. I hope you were able to find some ideas and I’d love to hear some of your suggestions as well! I hope you have a wonderful weekend and I’ll see you for Sunday’s post and the giveaway announcement.

Sincerely,

Kayla Price
