Hello and welcome to this week’s post. I hope you’re all well.
I know most of you are here for there giveaway announcement but for those who are interested, I hope you find some inspiration in my workout clothing suggestions.
I know Lululemon is expensive and price increases have happened over the past few years. It’s hard to know what to buy, what pieces are suited for which activity, and it can be overwhelming- especially when you get an overzealous employee following you around the store talking your ear off. I used to be one of those employees, or, an educator as we were formally called.
Trust me when I say that it’s just as uncomfortable for a lot of the employees to educate you on a product as it is for you to stand there and listen, but educators do have an excellent knowledge of the product, especially because most of them (myself included) live in the product. So, as a former Lululemon employee, trust what I say and you’ll be less overwhelmed, and more satisfied with your next trip to a Lulu store. Let’s get started.
I have large ears and headbands tend to make my big forehead look even bigger. But I don’t want to freeze my ears off when I’m running outside. The Fringe Fighter Headband is perfect because it’s thin enough so my head doesn’t overheat completely covered my ears.
The Run Fast Gloves are perfect for colder days and allow you to use your phone with the handy tech fingers.
The Invigorate Bra is my all time favorite bra Lulu has ever made. It’s so comfortable, provides medium support and the mesh backing allows for breathability, without digging in and leaving imprints like the Energy Bra.
In terms of shirts, I love the Sculpt Tank II is awesome for warmer days. The shirt is form flattering as it long enough in the back to cover your butt which I think is an added bonus. For colder days, I love the Swiftly Tech Long Sleeve Crew– it’s sweat wicking and has something called Silverescent which means you can sweat in it all day and you won’t stink.
My favorite shorts are the Tracker Short V “4 or the Hotty Hot Short II Long 4″. They’re great for warmer days and are long enough that you don’t feel like your butt is hanging out which always seems to be a problem when you’re a taller girl.
And lastly, my holy grail workout pants- the All The Right Places Pant II. These pants are expensive, but I swear by them. If you’re looking for a great pair of pants that don’t dig on, are streamline and have enough pocket space for car keys or credit cards/wallets, these are your pants. They hold their shape extremely well, don’t fall down when I’m running. Best of all, the seams are different with these pants. The crotch panel runs horizontal rather than vertical which means zero camel toe- no matter how high you pull them up.
And there you have it, my workout gear favorites. Thank you so much for reading and congratulations to @Oliviaellerby on winning the giveaway! I’ll be in touch wth you through Instagram messages so keep an eye out for that. Keep in mind that winners are selected at complete random and if you didn’t win, don’t fret! I’ll be holding another giveaway in the near future so stay tuned.
